The following stipulates BLAZIN’ 98.9’s (XMOR-FM) basic contest rules for all participants and apply to all contests and all competitions on air and on the BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) web-site at www.BLAZIN989.com. In addition, a contest may have its own special restrictions/qualifications, in which case an addendum to these rules will be attached.

1. All prizes, unless otherwise specified, must be collected from the BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) reception desk within 30 DAYS of winning.

2. It is NOT the responsibility of BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) to notify winners of the time remaining on their winnings. It is the winners’ responsibility to claim their prize within the 30 DAY period.

3. For any prize won on BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM), as part of either an on-air or off-air competition, VALUED AT $98 OR MORE, the winner is ineligible to win any subsequent BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) competition, either on-air or off-air, for a period of 60 DAYS from the date of the prize being won; or for a period of 30 DAYS from the date of the prize being won for prizes VALUED UNDER $98.

4. In case of a dispute over telephone, sms text, or internet entry, BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) decision is final and absolutely no correspondence will be entered in to.

5. BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) takes no responsibility for entry/entries that are not received due to sms text or internet service difficulties.

6. All major prize winners will be notified by telephone or mail and the winners names will be published on www.BLAZIN989.com within 30 Days of the draw.

7. All contestants acknowledge that it is a condition of entry that the station has the right to publicize and broadcast their names, characters, likenesses or voices for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition.

8. The winner may also be required by the station to participate in a photo/video/film session, and acknowledges that the station has the right to use such publicity photos/videos/films in any medium in any reasonable manner it sees fit, unless the contestant requests the station at the time of entering the competition that he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.

9. Contestants also acknowledge that their photo/video/film may be used for a promotional display at the prize provider’s location.

10. It is a condition of entering a competition that contestants consent to their entry being read out on air.

11. All contestants release from and indemnify BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

12. All prizes must be claimed in person, upon presentation of PROPER IDENTIFICATION (a valid driver’s license, passport, student identification, social security number), unless otherwise determined by BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM).

13. Additions or deletions to these rules are subject to the discretion of BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) and may be varied or modified at any time between contests.

14. BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM), its agencies, affiliates, sponsors or representatives absolve themselves of any and or liability, financial or resultant arising out of, or in connection with, any contest staged by BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM).

15. All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.

16. Winners/The winner will be responsible for any/all taxes incurred in relation to their receipt of the prizes(s).

17. Employees of BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM), its agencies, affiliates, sponsors or representatives and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

18. In the event a winner chooses not to collect or accept a prize within the 60 day period, they forfeit any and all claims to such prize which can then be awarded to a contest runner-up at the discretion of BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM).

19. BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) reserves the right to announce or publish winner’s names for publicity purposes.

20. As a result of entering any contest covered by these contest/competition rules the person may receive from time to time promotional material via direct mail, fax, sms text, or e-mail, from BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM).

21. All details of contestants and winners held by BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM), the data user, on BLAZIN’ 98.9 (XMOR-FM) computer databases, are protected under the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1984/98.

CONTEST RULES

MEC - #SKY Point and Play promotion

(a) User dials #SKY and recognizes anything playing on Blazin’ 98.9.
(b) User receives back a text message with their link to their information
(c) User receives back another text message which states:

“Thanks for using #SKY on Blazin’ 98.9 – You are entered into the Point and Play promotion. Listen to see if you won an iPod next Monday at 8:25 am and 4:25 pm.”

REPORTING:
1. SkyClix will send a list of the entrants for #SKY Point and Play to MEC Network Inc. each Friday before 3:00pm. These entrants will consist of all people who have dialed #SKY on a Blazin’ 98.9 broadcast between last Friday after 2:00pm and today (being a Friday) at 2:00pm.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

2. INSTRUCTIONS: Dial #SKY (#759) on your mobile phone, listen to the prompt, hold your phone 3 inches from the speaker, in 15 seconds #SKY will hang up for you. You will then receive a link to your song or advertiser information as well as a contest entry receipt. If you do not hear the #SKY welcome message, please dial 1-87-PoundSKY (1-877-686- 3759). 2. Listen to the greeting, and when you hear the chime, hold your phone 3 to 6 inches from the audio source you are listening to for 15 seconds. #SKY WILL HANG UP FOR YOU.

3. In about a minute you will receive an SMS message that includes a link to your information. Click through the link (sometimes labeled GO, GOTO or SAVE URL on different mobile phones).

4. You are now looking at a page with your information on it and the ability to purchase related items (available ringtones are a one-time fee of $2.99 each).

ON-AIR CONTEST:

1. BLAZIN’ 98.9 will randomly select TWO winning registrants from each week’s SKYCLIX provided list of “# SKY” callers for the “POINT & PLAY” contest at 8:25am and 4:25pm.
2. The TWO registrants drawn will each receive an APPLE 2GB NANO I-POD.
3. Weekly contest draws will take place on Monday March 31st; Monday April 7th; Monday April; Monday April 14th; Monday April 21st.
4. A grand prize draw will take place at 8:25am Monday April 28th to win an KENWOOD ORION Car Stereo System provided by JOE’S CAR STEREO.
5. All registrants across the contest period; including those who have won APPLE NANO I-PODS; will be included in this major prize draw.
